“. . . I bought my home in Highland Lakes. With that purchase came a membership to the club. After resigning as Golf Chair and a member of the Board of Governors at the Countryside Country Club, my 1st round at Highland Lakes was quite alarming. I can remember standing on the White #3 Tee and thinking, “Dodger you have made a big mistake” Since then we have had our ups and downs, mostly downs. However, the improvements that have been made this year are very impressive. Simply put, our courses have never been better. Never. We now have golf courses that 99% of us can be proud to play. We would all be better off if moving vans were parked at the doors of that other 1%.
